The launch of Cafe' Aglow took place on Thursday Feb. 2nd.  What a night!

The room was set out with tealights on the tables and a delicious display of puddings to eat. We started with an icebreaker to relax everyone . After the food, a DVD 'Aglow at a glance' was shown just briefly giving an overview of the ministry.

We read from Jane Hanson's book based on Ps 139. Our theme was knowing the truth about Jesus that will dispel the lies that we can believe about ourselves. Jesus is the Light of the world and the truth about Him will overcome the darkeness that can be in our lives.

We listened to Amy Grant singing Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path.

Esther Day and Liz Read (the two Whitton workers) we interviewed as they relaxed on a lovely sofa! With laughter and tears the girls really brought out about the difference it makes knowing Jesus in everyday living and the hope that we have in him for eternal life.

The message came over loud and clear and then we worshipped together as we sang 'Light of the world' and 'Thank you for Saving me'. We enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening in God's presence.
